Hard Work VS Experience

“What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work” —Stephen King

Hard work or experience… Which would be a more suitable quality for your representative to have?

The question has come up a few times. While we would be blessed to have a person with both qualities, we are often forced to choose between the two.

I believe that hard work is better than experience, just as hard work is better than talent. When you work hard at something you will be better than those who rely solely on their experience or their talent. Experience is gained, while hard work is something that is instilled and comes from within.

As for experience please keep in mind that everyone has to start without any.  Additionally, if experience was the best factor of success then the most experienced candidate would always be voted in and, our community would be the best place to live, work, play and raise a family.

This is why I work hard at everything I do, and I can certainly attest it pays off. I’m sure you can as well.

I believe our representatives should work as hard as we do. I also believe I have the conviction, talent and work ethic required to best represent us.

Let me know what you think.
